Chantelle Mackney lives and breathes cats and dogs. Now she’s here to share her passion for animals with your fluffy family member!
She devoted the last 15 years to the care of her three dogs and four cats – each with their own unique behavioural and health needs.
In the little spare time she had left, she ran Justice for Bullies Canine Society of Alberta, a non profit that encourages responsible dog ownership and breed neutral bylaws. She played a role in changing several animal control bylaws in Alberta. In working with the public and advocating for over 70,000 dogs and their owners she eventually realized that with all her knowledge, a career in animal care was the logical next choice.
When her adopted dog started showing signs of reactivity to other dogs, she was committed to ensuring that she had the proper tools to set her dog up for success, while adding to her own understanding of canine behaviour.
Chantelle and her dog Mr. Magoo participated in Barn hunt, Rally Obedience Novice, Rally Obedience Advanced, Do More With Your Dog Trick Titles and the Canine Good Neighbour Certification. She now shares her journey with newly adopted Frankenstein.

Fur Fluff's Sake Pet Services is insured, pet first aid certified and a legally operating business offering private one on one training, drop in group classes for students, dog walking, in home pet sitting and potty breaks.
